Bonnaroo Announces Concerts on the Farm

On March 16, Bonnaroo announced “Concerts on the Farm,” a series of socially-distanced pod-style concerts featuring Billy Strings, Jon Pardi and The Avett Brothers.

First up is Billy Strings, who was originally billed on the Bonnaroo 2020 lineup. He was also featured in the “Virtual Roo” held in Sept, 2020, along with Old Crow Medicine Show. Hailing from Michigan, Strings’ music is a style of bluegrass country, similar to Greensky Bluegrass. His album Home won “Best Bluegrass Album” at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in March, 2021.

The second in the concert series is county artist Jon Pardi with special guest Jameson Rodgers. Pardi has previously toured with several well-known country artists including Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and more. He is best-known for his radio hits Head over Boots and Dirt on my Boots.

Jameson Rodgers is known for his country hit Some Girls.

The Avett Brothers will play the third in series. The most well-known in the series, The Avett Brothers play a style of Americana folk-rock. They are Bonnaroo veterans, having performed at the festival five times – in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. The band has been nominated for three Grammy awards, and has won four Americana Music Awards.

The Avett Brothers will round up the series with three seperate concerts on July 2, July 3, and July 4, 2021. Find details and tickets here.
